As Russia and China continue to invest heavily in submarine technology, Nato forces are stepping up their efforts beneath the waves. Exercise Dynamic Manta, Nato’s premier anti-submarine warfare drill, brings together ships, submarines, aircraft and helicopters from across the Alliance to sharpen their ability to detect and track some of the world’s most advanced submarines.
