The British Army have retained their title in this year’s Services Offshore Regatta following a week of hard-fought sailing between the three services.
Six yachts from each service competed throughout the week, which started with a race from Cowes, on the Isle of Wight, to Brixham in Devon.
The British Army boat named Fujitsu British Soldier was the favourite to retain the title, but they faced stiff competition from the Royal Navy, who came armed with their new rig named Sovereign.
