A beacon of hope shines again 💡
During WW2, the Ayrton Light atop Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben) was blacked out for nearly 6 years. Just before VE Day, it shone again. 80 years on, veterans and the Speaker Lindsay Hoyle MP, recreated that historic moment.
